The HDC Local Plan has failed Examination.  WCPC made representations against the changed Local Plan allocation for West Chiltington. The Reg 18 consultation document dated Feb 2020 was consulted upon between Feb and March 2020. That document on page 111 allocated two sites for a total of 25 homes. The Reg 19 consultation on page 191 allocated three sites for 38 homes. 

 

The Neighbourhood Plan was aligned with the emerging Local Plan. The document produced and consulted upon in 2021 ( see the 2021 draft Plan ) has not changed apart from bringing the legislation up to date. It still allocates two sites for a total of 25 homes.

 

In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2012 (as amended), the West Chiltington Neighbourhood Development Plan and associated supporting documents went out for consultation from 18 October to 29 November 2024 for 6 weeks inviting representations on the draft submission plan, basic conditions statement, SEA/SA and HRA assessments.
